Terms of service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This template is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before use in production.

1. Using FamilyFund

You must be able to form a binding contract to use this service. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the financial records you and your group members enter — FamilyFund is a record-keeping tool, not a payment processor, bank, or escrow service. No money moves through the app itself.

2. Groups and members

Group owners are responsible for who they invite and what roles they grant. Members with edit access can add, edit, and delete records according to their role. FamilyFund is not responsible for disputes between group members about contributions or expenses recorded in the app.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Free plan is available at no cost with the limits described on the billing page. Premium is a paid, recurring subscription billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use FamilyFund to store or transmit unlawful content, attempt to access another group’s data without authorization, or interfere with the service’s normal operation.

5. Termination

You may delete your account or any group you own at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Disclaimer

FamilyFund is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for financial decisions made based on records or reports generated in the app.
